An example of how weight gain isn't a bad thing unless you're not resistance training. You see it all the time, people who are frustrated when they begin to lift and the scale doesn't go down. This could mean lean mass is being gained as you lose fat if you are indeed in a deficit. The scale isn't everything. I'd take the way clothes fit and your image in photos or the mirror over the scale.

Early 2017 is when I got serious again after slacking for a while. For about 3 years I think I did too much running to really gain the mass I wanted, especially on the legs. Thanks, man!
