Anesthesia has different ways to trigger us. Maybe check with your dr/surgeon and run it by them. You want to make sure there’s no infection brewing etc. Do you have a fever at all? Praying it has passed. You are one strong soul Diana. Take good care. 💜🙏🏻💜 

Wifey, no fever and I didn't necessarily feel ill but just really tired. When I would have the bouts of diarrhea ( sorry..TMI) I felt pretty weak. Thanks for support!🩷🩷🩷 

I'd check with the doctor just to be sure. A!though hasn't it been a few days since the surgery? Maybe it's something you ate or even a medication. 

I agree with wifey. Anesthesia could affect your bowels, as well as any meds they've put you on to recover. But most definitely, 1000% check with your surgeon or doctor. Oh, and keep up with electrolytes, as bathroom runs tend to dehydrate you and pull all your electrolytes out with it. HUGS. 

Diana when you said stomach sick I thought you meant vomiting. I’m pretty sure it’s just anesthesia going through your system (I think that’s a thing lol). I had the same issue for about three or four days after I came home from surgery. Maybe it’s normal? 

Carbabuser, I will have to wait till Monday to call Dr unless it gets really bad. I was also wondering about the anesthesia. Good advice about keeping hydrated. ...🩷 Wifey, sorry for confusion 🩷 Fritzy, my surgery was last Monday so I was wondering if it's still possible to be anesthesia....💜 

This time of year my family always stock up on electrolyte replacements. Pedialyte, Gatoraide etc.. Once your sick it's there esp. for the little ones.  

You can call Ask a Nurse or Teladoc 24/7 without going in. I’ll bet your insurance has something like that. 

Red Rose! Thanks! My husband did make sure I was stocked up! 👍 Katsolo. I seem to be doing better now. Last bout in bathroom was around noon. I ate soup for lunch and had grilled chicken for dinner. I do feel better than yesterday. I'm just really tired.💜 

Are you taking pain meds? They can make you nauseated too. I hope it passes quickly. No fun to feel sick! 

Bear, no painkillers per say. I opted to just take Ibuprofen 800s. Pain isn't bad, just sore where they moved stuff. I dk why it happened but at least it seems to be better 💜💜 

I always get sick after being put under! I hate it and they try everything - different meds, anti nausea patch but the last time I had surgery at Mayo for my breast cancer they would not give me anything. I had an option for acupuncture or essential oils. I did the essential oils - I think it was Lavendar and it worked!
