I'm disappointed, I've been so dillegent with diet and exercise but I still gained. I started being more precise with weighing and logging foods as well. I always weigh my meats, after cooking those were spot on, but sometimes I guesstimate things like veggies, yogurt, oatmeal etc. Ex: I prep a lot of raw veggies but when I log I might log cut red peppers inaccuratly because it's by cup or full pepper etc. I started weighing them by grams to be completely accurate. I usually have 1/2 cup cooked oatmeal and found I was really having about 2/3 c so fixed that. I make tuna with about 1 tablespoon Greek yogurt and logged it as .15 c yogurt cuz only cup or gram measurement available. Now do it by gram as I overestimated that. So some stuff under, some stuff over.. I have not had any cookies or candies and carbs at acceptable amt, fat sometimes lower than nutritionist wants and protein at very good amt. I have been fairly clean in eating. I'm just perplexed. I understand this is a slight gain but I'm on a plan to look a certain way and although upper body is going in right direction, mid section is the problem. My jeans are tight in waist so I know it's where weight is ending up. Just keeping you guys updated and appreciate all the support...

Tim, thanks for the encouragement! I do walk our dog almost every afternoon. Not sure she likes it as not...lol. She is happy to just be with me but exercise isn't her favorite...hope you are doing well!💜💜

Unhealthy dad, my trainer has me on treadmill or elliptical for about 20 min to warm up. She does it so I won't get injured. I sometimes get back on treadmill after lifting.

Sweet Diana ~ you are still my hero and inspiration here on FS💙💙💙 Our weights are almost identical both before and after the holidays. it's kinda spooky...but you are doing AMAZING with the exercise and doing a LOT better with food choices/calories than I am these days🤦‍♀️ I'm always so impressed with your workouts...wow...you're a power house!!💪💪💪 Today I found some dance type vids and got a real FUN workout done with lots of 'steps'🎶🎶🎶 Hang in there, beautiful lady...may God bless you and your family today & always🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏

I don't log anything under 15 calories. I never log raw veggies. Everything else is weighed to the gram. I sure hope the weighing helps you to meet your goal because it is so upsetting to you. Congrats on keeping with it!

Another tip is to count everything BEFORE you eat it. People forget things all the time no matter how diligent you think you're being. You'll get there, Diana!

So frustrating and I wish I had a solution and keep reading all of them because I am working on those few pesky pounds that of course went to my waist! One thing I do with FS though is I have my maintenance macros set right now and I just try to stay slightly below them since I know measuring and FS is not always 100%. But shoot who am I to offer advice right now because I can’t back to my maintenance level! I think you are doing everything you can and have to think that you are just going to see that change any day. It is just taking it’s sweet time!

Don't worry about daily increases. As long as you are losing weekly, you will hit your goal!

Make sure you only weigh once a week. Don't worry about counting vegetables. They will not make you gain ( unless, of course it is potatoes)

To those if you who say don't count vegetables...I need to, not for the calories but for the carbs. I don't do keto but I do count macros. Some vegetables can be high in carbs. I get 80-100 carbs a day. Carbs can add up quickly. I did talk to my nutritionist and she seems to think my body is hanging on to weight because I'm depriving it of whst it needs. I'll post more about that later, I'm getting an occular migraine so have to get off device!💜💜
