Let me tell you, I am never getting a dog. I have the parrots - that is enough guilt. I walked these guys twice myself and had my daughter walk them too. Tonight their "stepfather" is taking them til Saturday but I am not going to miss them at all!
I did get some 2500 steps in walking them. But I didn't go to the gym because I had to go home and walk them.
Getting back into watching what I eat and I am kinda hungry. My neighborhood ice cream place is giving away free small ice creams but I have ice cream in the freezer already so I will have some of that measured out with whipped cream.
My house looks great - daughter cleaned and moved things for me. Will have her do some more tomorrow too. Thursday there will be no dogs.
I did eat too much ice cream so I am over but I will do better tomorrow, I promise.

I love dogs and if you have a good fenced yard they are happy and so am I. Many dog breeds are made to run free and enjoy the dog life. some are insiders.

I couldn't have survived through so many difficulties if I didn't have my dog - she has healed parts of me that diet and exercise don't touch!

Parrots need lots of verbal attention but it's just clean cage, feed, water and they are happy to just be in the room with you talking or singing to them. A few neck "scritchies" some shoulder time and they are good to go. Dogs are really needy pets. They exhaust me. Bird people, cat people, dog people, we all love OUR chosen critters best. 🐕😸🐦

Dogs are definitely a lot of work. I love mine, but it is not for everyone.
