Numbers looking good. I expect to slowly improve from here if I keep a minimum of 300g of carbs. Which makes me question.. there’s a fitness dude on TikTok that takes steep deficits and his numbers doesn’t take a hit... I’m now questioning his natty status 🤔 or is it cuz of preworkout. Anyone natty that has done steep cuts and does it affect their numbers? Does preworkout help? Questions questions

Depends on his stats and how well his body is doing. My family has good genes. I just saw my cousin's labs. The guy is 45 and has a natty testosterone level of 810! That is a good number for a 25 year old. And IDK what my dad's were at age 45 but they must have been good to bench 360lbs. Natty levels are 300-1100. So clearly it isn't fair to compare natty vs natty.

nice! SG you used to post screenshots of a lift tracking app, do you still use it? I'm thinking about switching away from my paper notebook at some point.

Gobbler -- totally, the beta-alanine does that. To me it feels like a tingling under the skin. But it's supposed to delay fatigue by delaying lactic acid build-up in the muscles. For creatine, the ON brand has 3g/serving, which is a hair low, but enough that personally I wouldn't bother adding more either. If you're ever in the market for one without creatine, I like Legion Pulse (have also tried C4 and it's not as good IMO).

I agree, how's the kitty? I don't know what natty is, but dang, SG, I wanna go lift heavy stuff now. 😁. If only.

Tud I’m talking about workout numbers. This dude he’s on 800-1000 deficit and still maintain his lifts. Maybe it’s cuz he’s younger? He’s just in his 30s good physique for a natty but below average if comparing to gear physique

John I’m still using the strong app, you could send the workout to your txt n I just copy it from there. Since when posting pictures you have limited characters lol I don’t know how there’s people who can stand tracking with pen n paper! The app makes it so easy 😂

I started out on a fairly steep cut. As a noob i was able to put on decent muscle mass while losing fat. Once I hit 17-15% bf my workouts started to really suffer and my overall energy was low with that large of a deficit. When I recalibrated to a deficit of around 200, I felt much better and my lifts improved again. The fat loss was slower, but I’d rather it take more time and save as much muscle as possible. A large calorie deficit will always steal more of your hard earned gains than necessary…… unless you are on gear. I know that my performance suffers if my deficit is under 300 calories on average. I’m a smaller, older guy who is fairly new to the process. My T levels are still great for a man of any age so I’m lucky on that front. I’m happy to be on a clean bulk now. That calorie surplus has really improved my lifting and overall energy levels. I’m a total noob so take my personal experience with a grain of salt.

Include a pic of the kitty in question please? Also, what does NATTY mean? Am i so old that’s a younger generation word? Ps you’ve motivated to up my leg press🥳. I currently do 3 x 180 x 10 reps and 3x80 x 10 for single leg. Going to push to 190. You are a beast. So many many reps on your workouts😹(that’s for your kitty)

Natty=natural and not enhanced. It's such a commonly used word now because most are using gear (juice, steroids, SARMS, insulin, hgh, PEDs etc.) IG & TikTok are filled with fake natty influencers.

Thank you TUD. My daughters father was a competitive heavyweight bodybuilder in the 80’s and 90’s and i was so naive that i thought he was natural. He was the most genetically gifted man i had ever seen. Perfect to the diamond calves. Thought his size was all hard work and then... One day i found this strange little zippered case and opened it and got the shock of my life. Yep, steroids. He’s 64 now and still super strong and massive. Don’t know if he still juices but his doc told him recently to put the weights down and start doing cardio. He didn’t like that too much (this is not my husband btw). I had friends in organ failure in my 20’s from steroids. Young people don’t realize the price they may pay down the road for this stuff. I don’t know what SARMS OR PEDS are but guessing not healthy. Thank you for the clarification

Cosmos same here. My first of bulking I had no problems doing a steep deficit and still improving my lifts. But I was working out fasted then later during the cut I added sugars as preworkout food so it was easy to improve from that lol... this time around the bulk numbers is build by sugars n stimulants already and I can’t go any lower than 200 as well otherwise my workout will suffer. I’m just trying to find out how this guy does it.
