Absolutely agree with this! Dieting is not sustainable long term. Let's call it healthy lifestyle. And I wish I could work out more than 3xweek which is my bare minimum. I feel grumpy if I don't :) Endorphines!!

Maybe that's the difference, too- going 3-5 days a week instead of 7 days a week- I'd be closer to 100% excited to do it.

fair point Princess. I try to lift 3 days a week and run two. Here lately, that hasn't really happened consistently, and it bugs the crap out of me lol. But if I were working out 7 days a week, I probably wouldn't be 100% excited about it either.

It's not good for your body to do it 7/7... You need rest days. Then up to you to find what works better. Personally it's mostly every other day for me, ideally 5xweek but it's actually really hard to go over 3 even if I really want, because I've got a special needs kid + work full time long hours (business trips). And I am not a morning person :)))

Thinking about taking Sundays off... Only because a women's day off means doing a ton of stuff around the house. LOL so I could catch up on more laundry and cleaning. Ha

Ok, ok, there are definitely days I don’t feel like working out. When my son is super disregulated and having a really bad day, sometimes I can’t workout or it’s very interrupted. I hate those workouts. I still push through though. But that’s what’s so great about a routine and habit. We do it anyway, and thank ourselves later. Letting my body recover really helps with the drive to want to workout the next time.

after a year of not being able to lift weights from neck injury, I couldn't agree more. getting to work out is a gift. never take it for granted.

I agree with LeiLei. When it’s your routine, you feel like you’re missing out when you don’t go. Life helps us with breaks sometimes and you are stronger for the next workout! Get it people!

A specific plan for a specific day has proven best for me. With occasional plan revisions (every 6 to 12 weeks). I have tried rotating plans and grabbing time when available lately, and progress gradually fell apart.

People don't get things right. If you can work out over 1 hour, means you don't push yourself to the max. I can barely move after 1h. Stop chatting or managing yourself, and 1 hour will be just fine.

Velvetee... That's just a dumb ass thing to say. If you can work out over an hour, you don't push yourself? I go for an hour but Diablo goes longer and his body shows it. He's not taking selfies for an hour or chatting with anyone. He goes hard the whole time. I do agree that 2-3 hours is a bit much but to say someone can only do that if they are not pushing is asinine.
