Yesterday, I had this weird sensation in my ears - especially when I would move my eyes the least but sideways. It was kinda like putting your hands over your ears, but like a whisk broom sound. It was VERY irritating and concerning. Today, when the Physical Therapist came, I was dizzy and she took my blood pressure: 96/53. The home health nurse came a couple hours later and it was 110/74. Supposedly, I’m dehydrated. The Diet Coke is biting me! The most water I’ve drunk in a day since surgery is 32 ounces, I think. I’ll end up getting in 40oz today before my cut-off time of 3pm. My goal for tomorrow is to get down four 16-oz bottles (64 ounces). I’ve got to get a handle on this!

I think it's difficult to get that much water down. I'm probably perpetually dehydrate. Good luck on that.

Debbie, make one of your water intakes about 16 oz of electrolytes. Especially if you are dehydrated. That can be Gatorade, pedialyte, vitamin water. Especially post surgical. Water is important for you not only for health and recovery but also because you can get quite ill (or worse) from dehydration. Coke is NOT a substitute. Easy for me to say because I’ve never been a soda person but you have made so many positive strides this sounds like your hill that may be causing you serious issues moving forward. Said with affection sis.
