After a relatively cool Fall and Winter, yesterday was hot. When it hit 81, I decided to swim. So I did.The good is that MET-wise, I hit 10.8 which means I was working, 9 minutes in peak, 21 in cardio, average heart rate of 147. the not so good news is that the watch did not count strokes at all. By my count I did 750+150ish strokes, but we'll never know for sure. Frustrating. Will try again today. The bad news is that I was floating pretty easily which means I am carrying more fat. Funny how that works. I also quit logging later in the day and should probably try and do that. I didn't realize that I hadn't been in the pool in almost two months. Priorities for the moment, but it still feels good. My calorie burn yesterday was slightly insane compared to other recent days. I did feel much more energetic afterwards than I have on my walks lately. Good to feel that again. Not the best pic and I don't edit except for the FS frame size, but the sky was insanely beautiful yesterday. Camera really didn't capture it well. Anyways, I'm happy again. That's always a good thing. Longer days coming soon will help. Today is BF's birthday, so one more day of slight indulgence, then, we're back to the basics and more movement. It was a good day, but probably walking dogs vs. swimming at this point. had to troubleshoot some software stuff and I have a hard time walking away until I've fixed things. obsessive much? oh yeah. totally. I did make some notes for the next time.
