Good morning. Slight weight-loss this morning, even though no bowel movement yesterday. Managed to eat just 1/2 of one of the crème brulee ramikins yesterday. It was delicious - decadently smooth, rich, and creamy! I already ate today's portion at 5:30am this morning. I took tiny little bites to savor each taste. I'm afraid it will be harder for me to not eat another half serving today, but I'm going to try to stay strong (with prayers for God's help). I will try to remind myself that I'm not being denied, I'm just delaying.

I know some people will say I never should have allowed the creme brulee in the house to start with. But, I've only had an actual "dessert" twice in the 8 weeks I've been dieting, and I really want it. Calorie-wise, I'm able to keep within my RDI (actually at under 80% of it). Because I've PLANNED for this, and I'm only eating a pre-designated amount each day, I still put that I am sticking with my eating plan 100%, and I feel honest about that. If I have more than 1/2 serving a day, or if I go over my RDI, I will change it.

Today, we're trying the Jay's Epicurean Kitchen Chicken Marsala that BJ's sells. It is already fully cooked and refrigerated. I just have to heat it to serving temperature in the microwave. I hope it is good, like their Pot Roast is! It has some mushrooms in it, but I sauteed a large container of mushrooms and a large onion to serve with it, and I'll have just 1/3 cup of Bob Evan's Mashed Potatoes. I was going to steam some carrots, too, but my husband said that he'll just have Navy Beans (which I made him the other day) as his vegetable.

Good plan for the creme brulée. There are no forbidden foods on my WOE, moderation is the key. You're doing great!

Whatever you are doing seems to be working. Loving that downward trend in your weight history graph.

I did the same thing with ice cream - half a portion, every other day when I wanted it.
