I'll take the loss. Continuing with yesterday's theme about the scale, When I stepped on the first time it showed me at 182. Didn't get excited - impossible to lose 15 pounds in a day. But the 2nd weight came up twice and I believe it. The 2nd scale which normally weighs a pound higher, weighed a pound higher.
Need to run to the store for milk and half and half and cans of tomato soup. I've been eating out of the pantry the last week or so and I finished 2 cans of the soup and I am loving it. My peach tree is full of ripe or nearly ripe peaches so I'll have fruit

Have you tried using the scale in a different room or on a different type of flooring? An uneven surface will mess with the reading. A new battery helps sometimes, too. The tiled floor in my bathroom isn't level, so I have only 2 spots where my scale lays completely flat for an accurate reading.

Thanks Bananas. I think my floor is level but I can try moving it around and see if it gives different weights. I put new batteries in both scales not long ago. My last scale went about 15 years before I even realized it had batteries. I thought maybe it was solar powered or something! Thanks Caraken and JMA - I hope to get outside tomorrow to pick most of the peaches before the deer get them. There appear to be less today than yesterday. I ate 2 small peaches yesterday that were ripe enough to pick and they were delicious!
