Thanks Eatolive and Melissa. The weight loss is nice, but I know I am not getting enough protein on the Daniel fast. But I'm about halfway through it.

Thanks Liv. Not sure what to do about body strength. My only exercise is walking and I just finished a 30 minute walk and had hardly any energy, but managed to finish it.

Different lifting exercises is good. There are many good suggestions on youtube.

I think walking is good as well. I started lifting with two small water bottles. You can do some squats and stretches with a chair. I do that often

Fritzy, before I started at the gym, you know it was mostly long, long walks for me. But, I also was using bands and some weights and body weight. Just starting light and careful will be great! You will feel stronger I bet when you have a more complete diet. I think what you are doing is a lovely choice, but when you are able to find easier protein, I bet you will feel less weary when you walk.

Liv and Melissa - I do have some hand weights I use at home for my arms. When I am able to walk up the hills I think that helps my legs. I've been fine on this fast and this is day 10. The lack of energy started yesterday and it may be totally unrelated to how I am eating.

That is good you feel good in the fast. I know you have had unexplained fatigue before. Hang in there, girl! ❤️

Melissa - the fatigue I was getting before seemed to last all day. It pretty much stopped once I started taking vitamin b-12 and D as well as a multi vitamin. Now I just feel weak and tired on the walks. Hoping tomorrow will be better.
