I used to enjoy FS. I love to support people and be supported with our weight goals and have fun with our community, but it's become far too toxic for me as of late.

For now, I'm going back to just using this as a calorie counting app.

I love you all and I truly wish you the best of success in building and maintaining the discipline necessary to achieve all you are striving towards. You will get there if you dig in your heels and overcome temptations!

Thank you, everyone, for all you've done for me and I hope I've given back equally as much and hopefully more.

Nodding. I'm on the fence. I have been shifting more to my private blog because the journal component was helping. I still get a great deal of support from many people here and I appreciate it. I try to support back and in between offer a little humor so that we lose weight without losing our mind. But the 'toxic' level does seem on high. I almost have to birdbox my way thru posts to sort it all out.

I hope you find a way to balance it all. Your advice and encouragement has meant a lot to me. We approach weight loss differently but that never seemed to matter to you. I will miss you terribly. Please do what is best for you but I know many people here will miss you as well.

It’s like Facebook, you can unfollow people you don’t get good vibes from. But it’s still social media and it can be a bad thing too. I will miss your wit. I agree with you about the toxicity here. For me, FS has saved my life, so I am here “till death do us part.” I usually read all of it in the hope I’ll identify the folks spewing the toxins, then I can take them “with a grain of salt”. As a retired senior, I only want love, kindness and information in my life. I rely heavily on the information about nutrition that folks post. I’m T2 myself so I have to incorporate all info to fit my woe. My parenting skills might help me to ignore the bad behavior. Thank you for your contribution to this site and know that you helped me. 💗💐😢
