Day 1 of a planned 5 day ‘no solid food’ fast Blood sugar 87 mg/dL 36 pushups 2019 PUSH UP Challenge! 2019 PUSH UP Challenge (Overall leaderboard)I went to the gym yesterday and I was able to maintain my 200lbs lifts 🏋🏾♂️. I also 🏃🏾 ran 5 miles afterwards. Running is not helpful for my weight training, but, losing weight is my primary focus as we head into the holidays. 📅 This weekend we have two dinner parties planned and rather than trying to ‘act right’ I am going to take the expected 4-5 pound weight gain. My plan is to ‘act right’ at ‘other times’ like during this week. When I do my 5 day ‘no solid food fast’ correctly I can usually lose 4-6 pounds. If I can do that this week I should end up next Monday at my current weight. 👍🏾 Rinse and repeat until the holidays are over. That is the plan at least. 😎 Life is Good! Have a great day everyone!

@nikeit - Thanks! I can't begin to describe how hard the last 5 pushups were. I wanted to quit. I have been trying to do them really fast, as if I could do them fast before I got tired. I know that is silly, but doing them slowly does NOT help either.

The KC Chiefs scored 40 points last night & I was so pumped I matched them with pushups. Yes, the last 5 were hard, but watching the game made it a little bit easier!!
