So same weight today. I sipped on a protein shake through out the day yesterday so I technically wasn’t fasting. I also consumed wayyyy more protein than usual but it shouldn’t have been enough to cause me issues. 🤷♀️ At this point I’m not concerned but It means I must continue to experiment

it is not abnormal to not drop everyday. and unless you are pushing 80 to 100 grams of protein I don't tend to think you had too much. when you have too much it will knock you out of ketosis. I regularly ate 90 and 100 grams without a problem. Granted I was also pushing closer to 1300 calories average. Protein is good for the body. I know I am bad always rooting for more protein

… welllll to me a protein shake IS still fasting :) (no solid food - - a 'food' fast). The only thing that I am doing differently is ONLY consuming protein shakes that have 2 net carbs (I know don't get me started on the 'net carb' issue - but, let's agree LOW carb), and I am exercising like a fiend... I guess what I am doing is keeping the carbs low and upping the protein AND fat (@PrincessValerie and I go through heavy cream like its water).

Adef I bought single serving packs of quest in all the flavors. Except the cookies and cream because I have a whole tub. Didn’t realize the net carb part 🤣 I think I will do a “no solid food” day tomorrow to try it out and to drop a lill extra before Saturday when my vacay starts!
