A bit off topic but hangry reminded me of a recent CPR class I taught with this girl shared that while pregnant she was craving drywall and started picking at her wall and eventually brought a spoon in and was taking bites out of a hole she picked. So maybe that would appeal to that particular group. 🤣🤷♂️

My buddies cousin's neighbors friend who 'does' k-e-t-o said he waves a spoon over the container and then licks the spoon. Zero calories and he stays in nutritional ketosis. At least that is the claim. IDK, meh, I'd probably just bake cookies and eat 1 or 8. Count it and move on.

DP - That is called PICA. Craving things like dirt and clay. More common in children, but also effects a small percent of pregnant women. The cause is not known, but most likely due to a deficiency in iron or other vitamin or mineral. And Terrapin, that is just messed up but too funny...my buddies cousin's neighbors friend lol

I have worked with individuals with intellectual disabilities since 1994- so definitely know about PICA. I never had pg cravings myself but have heard about clay and dirt- the drywall was new to me. Luckily her kid was ok.
