Took the new gym toy for a trial run yesterday gotta say the axel bar is no joke for grip strength!! I dont want to sound too vain and you cant tell in this pic but damn all the work from this years bulk is showing like crazy now!! Cant believe how much bigger my abs got especially since they are my lowest focus of any muscle group. Contrary to popular belief abs are not only built in the kitchen!

Go on and show off your abs if you want to. We don't mind. LOL. I for one am tired of looking at my own flab and need some inspiration. I'm doing terrible with diet and exercise as my sick hubby is consuming my life. I have got to do better!!!

Great job! A common cop-out I’ve used for lifting is “I lift more than the average person, at least for doing it on purpose for exercise if heavy objects aren’t necessary for you to lift.” That doesn’t work because: A. You can choose to help people with heavy objects, which weigh more than dumbbells, even if it is not part of intentional exercise lol. B. Anywhere between 5 and 15-lb dumbbells regularly is better than the average person, but…far less than what the average person could do if they tried, if they are healthy enough to handle it…thankfully I am healthy enough to handle it if I work at it! I can’t lift weights again yet, neurological reasons not directly physical, but, when I can, eff those cop-outs, since I am physically healthy and it won’t get easier as I get older! Anyone guilty of these cop-outs, if they have ever lifted regularly?

Congratulations! ABs are THE HARDEST to fine tune, IMO. For me, anyway. My legs and arms are easy compared to my abs. I don’t actually target my abs. Maybe this summer.

Thank you everyone and your right it's been an over 6 month grind with lots of effort to get here. Still dieting down like 2 more weeks and I'll post a pic eventually lol. The abs were just the most surprising of the gains. The Triceps were the biggest gainer from 100s of dips and my biceps got much nicer shape to them. I had some more time to play around with the axel bar last night the max my little hands that can't make it all the way around the bar could deadlift with it was 210 lbs .. room for improvement
