Enjoyed another 55 degree day in February yesterday and got out on the mountian bike for the first time in months. Planned on 15 miles but only did 9. Disaster struck half way through the ride when a stick decided to make its way into my drive train and broke my derailur hanger. This isn't the first time this has happened so I always carry an extra one and have the tools to replace it but it's still a pain In The butt to be a trailside mechanic. Back at work today and we had our first in person meeting in a while and as with any time I go I to the office now I have to give a seminar on weightloss to a handful of different people that come up and ask lol. Today 3 different people were asking what they should do what diet to follow, exercise advice etc. Somone I just saw last week came up and was like dude you lost weight again lol. Ive only been on the cut for a few days but I was holding a lot of water weight in my face from the 600 grams of carbs a day, I actually noticed it myself yesterday. I had someone who I've know for over 10 years across 2 different companies come up to me that noticed I have packed on some muuscle the past few months since I've seen him so that was something new. Didn't have a chance to prep lunch for today but made out alright at aldis with a quick roadside low fat low calorie high protein lunch. It's definitely not easy to be successful without prepping but this works for today.

Looks like a nice day. I wish we had a lake close to us. Closest is 45mins. I'm glad you were able to fix the bike. I would have ended up yelling some not so great words while I walked it back. BTW, 9 degrees and snowing here. Just shoveled and my hands were freezing through the gloves. Still expecting 4 more inches, so I'll be out there again later.

TheUnhealthyDaddy it was a Great day I'm fortunate to live in an area with an abundance of mountains and lakes even a nice one in walking distance. As far as the bike goes I've been down the screaming route and walking back to the car route before and learned my lesson I carry an extra hanger, tire tube and tools to change them both out. Sucks you have to depart with the snow this has been the least snowy winter I think we have ever seen on the east coast. Greta for snow removal not great for skiing. Saw your bench video on tiktok nice work 👍

MorticiaAddams absolutely I'm just more surprised that people still keep asking me all this stuff I've been this weight or under for 11 months at this point. I love helping the guys out but I can't say that mamy of them have followed through on any of the advice I've given lol

Your food choices are sooooo much healthier than any drive thru could provide. Bet that's a change that your inquiring co-workers are not ready to do. I have shared trucks with fit guys that could even find hard boiled eggs, yogurt, bananas, sleeves of peanuts and bags of pepitas at 7-11. During breaks we would do pushups, sit-ups, and dips before eating -- for fun, but also because I think they liked to show off on how many more reps they could do than me 😄

Got my bike out last weekend too… what a disaster lol. Flat tire limped home tail between my legs yada yada

JustBananas your not wrong the one guy was like I get home too late to prep so I told him prep his protein only for thw whole week and stop and grab a bag of salad and some fruit because quality protein is the hardest to find on the run. I also told him exactly where to get this container of chicken at both Aldi and Walmart and that it's my go to when I do t have time. Obviously it's higher salt then if uou do it yourself but drastically better than anything else you will find and pretty well priced.

66Pack ughhh I'm set up tubeless so if u get a flat it's a real mess to get a tube in there temporarily but better than walking

Cheesegobbler84 thanks and yes this is totally my element got my mountains, lake and woods all in the same spot and all to myself 😊 . Some Great fishing in that lake too including landlocked salmon although I never seam to be able to catch them 😄
