They are thistle mushrooms, so we call them here I give you the name of gender and you look for it for more security. ( Pleurotus eryngii) are highly appreciated and soft in the kitchen.

Oyster mushrooms! Yum! (Be sure to double check with mushroom book and location. Dont eat if found on an evergreen log...but if found on a deciduous log they are most likely a go!)

Yea bought oyster mushrooms from the stores before. It never tasted this good tho. Kinda like comparing fruits to the ones at the store and the ones you get from a tree! I would eat these over chicken and cheap cuts of beef!
