#Squat Saturday ..its a thing I swear

Hahah It was on my way back up lol 😆 that's 225 lbs that's just slightly under 1.5x my body weight I was super happy to get multiple reps in that was my 1 rep max not too long ago.

D_not_Cupcake hahah alright maybe later I found the frame but I need to figure out how to blur it out a bit 😅 😂 let's just say my shorts got super tight and didnt leave much to the imagination i might as well have been wearing the kilt 😄 🤣 😂

I was squatting the other day. First time in a long time. I had to switch my belt down two holes. These holes were never used. It was tight and my 7y/o daughter watched me struggle for 10mins to get out of my belt at the end. "Daddy, what if you have to keep it on forever"? She was concerned. lol

JustBananas it's alittle further than it looks from that angle but it wouldn't matter I cracked thw whole top when I was screwing it to the wood anyway 😆

TheUnhealthyDad everything about your post was awesome glad your back at the lifting and it's pretty great that you had to make the belt smaller. But what uour kid said deffintly takes the cake I love what comes out of their mouths sometimes

ginome don't discount yourself bro I'm sure you could do more than you might think and we all start somewhere I never even touched a barbell in my life before the end of February

Great squat! Knees are forced out and looking good. Great job on 225#!! 💪💪 No squats for me this week. Trainer is on vacation so hubby and I went to our local YMCA. No safety bar for me so I need to improvise and probably have my hubby put the biggest dumbbell in my hands that I could 10-12 reps.

Redporchlady thanks hopefully next time there's more on the bar. The goal is to reach that 2x body weight squat. The past 2 weeks I have actually added 2 extra sets of squats to the start of my push day workout since the bar and weights are already set up in that configuration from my leg day 2 days prior. Ive already noticed improvements just from adding those 2 sets in. Adding a few sets of bench on my leg day was a huge benefit so I'm sure this will prove to be as well. Keep up the great work 👍 get the husband to snap a pic and join me for squat Saturday 😃 it's a thing I swear 😄
