floppy loose skin ..great reward for all the work 🤮 guess I can only blame myself 😡

It's all in the stomach the leaner I'm getting the worse it looks if I sit or bend over its disgusting. Can't really beef up this area too much to improve it. Everywhere else isn't an issue but this is just gross. The stretch marks from years ago when i was really over weight have lightned up and don't bother me but this really disheartening. I'm on the younger side so I really hope it tightens up a bit over the next year but this sucks

Chest, traps and some shoulders will also help tighten the midsection skin by pulling it upwards as they grow and fillup. Give it a try, also your whole back muscles too.

@superman6283. That's a really good point I didn't think about potential tightening from other parts growing. Still lifting 5-6 days a week so hopefully that does help pull the skin outward a bit

Oh that loose skin!! I think I am too old for it to tighten back up but I am addicted to this strength training so will keep on going!

I can't seem to not see loose skin as punishment for losing weight 🤪. Don't have much but damn

Yea it’s not a quick fix, it’ll take time but the bigger those area gets the more skin they’ll pull. Now you got new goals.... growing big ass muscles 💪

I already decided that after my weightloss is done I will for sure get loose skin removal surgery if I need it. I think my arms and stomach it will have a scar but that ok with me it will look and feel so much better. Most insurances will cover it because loose skin is a medical thing that can be bad for your health if it gets in the way and causes rashes. Good luck I would look into skin removal surgery just in case ive seen other people get it done and it looks so much better.

I have it too but look the fat was going to cause my death if I kept down the road I was on. I’ve never heard of anyone dying from loose skin maybe some rash or irritation which I thankfully have not experienced because mine is not extreme. I hope you can start to love yourself and appreciate that you didn’t continue to get more fat and or health related issues. 💖

I may need some surgery as well, but I find that weight training and really simple moisturizing helps get the skin back to shape as well...even if just a little bit. If anything, I'll need a boob lift, but that might just be an "age" or "generational" thing, too. LOL!!!

Otb123, yes it does suck. I'm sorry. I hate seeing stretch marks on my body because I know that they could have been avoided if I hadn't eaten myself into fatness so quickly. Those are the scars I bear as punishment for my gross overeating and greed. But difficult as it is to see your body and the traces it keeps of being overfed, it is better than remaining fat and at risk for myriad nasty health conditions and reduced quality of life. I hope you can eventually accept / tolerate your loose skin or that surgery is an option for you if you decide you don't want to look at it.

I think it's ok to admit to yourself there are parts of your body you're unhappy with...doesn't mean you hate yourself. And it's ok use medical/cosmetic procedures if you need to feel alright living in your body.

Sad to hear so many others struggling with this as well. I think the most upsetting part now is I have gotten to a point of being in pretty good shape. Definitely well into the healthy category now. I've just been pushing myself to really look and mentaly feel great but its not going according to plan anymore. It's been so motivating taking progress pics and looking forward for each month to conclude to compare for myself and also post another months worth of progress but that might be done now. Im Still looking pretty good standing up but if I bend over or sit my stomach just looks disgusting.. the skin is also getting lose around my belly botton standing though now too .Probably being overdramatic because I know other people have this to a way greater extent than I do just frustrating and takes a hit to the motivation to continue. My goal at this point was to loose the last bit of stomach fat and see the rest of my abs but honestly it may just look gross.

I have loose skin on my stomach, well there was now I have to lose it more again, but I know it's very frustrating
