What's good, brother? Been smokin pork shoulder all winter. Contemplating picking up one of those 30#+ chuck rolls next time they go on sale at the restaurant supply....Hope all is great in TX

Been smoking brisket, pork ribs, sausage and dino beef ribs. Trying different rubs and getting better with different techniques.  

Hopefully I'll be smoking chicken, picnics, ribs and more with the smoker I asked for for Mothers Day! 

Brisket mainly, do love a good pork shoulder. Even did some cold smoking of ham and bacon😊

Oh My! 

I was told that smoked and processed foods are bad for me, but I can't remember why?! IDK if it's bc of my diabetes II or bc of my allergies.... I luv it, though! :-/ 

My faves are: Smoked Halibut, Swordfish, & Tuna. I usually eat/buy it at the pier located on my image-pic: Redondo Beach. I think it's bc of the salt content that I was told to not eat it anymore....?! Not sure, though.  

I mostly grill but have wanted to get into smoking. Yours looks really good. Enjoy!!! 

@Slow Meta Barbecue is health food, nothing to spike your blood sugar if you don't use anything sweet in your rub, which I don't, just Kosher salt & cracked black pepper smoked over oak @ 220° 

@John I can't recommend highly enough that you should definitely get a smoker!  

@JimmiePop, heck yeah my dude, there's always something on sale that smokes well!
