Decided to have a cup of hot chocolate this morning. Probably, technically breaking the fast, but I don't consider it so. The way I fast is just drinking liquids. I've had nothing but water, Propel and 2 cups of hot tea so far and I'm about 62 hours into this "fast".

We fast the same Fritzy 🤗😊 I don’t count my coffee with a little protein powder, especially since 1 serving is 2 scoops and I only use 1/2 of 1 scoop.

Jcmama - I know "fasting" is an actual thing with rules, etc. But for me, I just like going awhile without solid food. But the morning hot beverage is very important!. Thanks Liv - you are very motivating to me, seeing you at goal at paying attention to maintaining.

Wow, Fritzy! All the admiration here! Flexing your "control muscle" is fantastic. I don't fast often, but every time I have (never so long as you) I have felt so much stronger to say no to "ordinary" overeating temptations afterward. Good going, girl! 😁 Glad you had a warm, nice drink this am!

Thanks for the inspiration; I'm just starting a fast today -- only 15 hours in. But I've got my jug of apple cider vinegar 'lemonade' that I'm chugging on, and feeling determined to make it at least until tomorrow.

Melissa - I think part of the reason the fasting isn't so hard for me right now is because 1) I do intermittent fasting and am used to not eating in the evening 2) I set a goal weight for my vacation in November which has me extra motivated and 3) since I decided to post my weight every Sunday I've developed my old Weight Watcher's mentality to do whatever it takes to post at least some loss on weigh in day. Once I reach my vacation goal weight, who knows what will happen! Erika - good luck with your fast!
