Hey everyone!

So it's been awhile since I've posted a journal entry. Well I have been doing well with tracking my food and weighing in every day. I think it's next week where I start actually trying to stay under a certain number of calories. This is where the hard work comes in!!

My husband recently showed me an article where one of the quotes pulled out in bigger text said "Don't count calories", as if to prove his point that he doesn't think counting calories works. But then, the bigger question is, what should I be doing? I can't rely on when I feel "full" to stop eating, because I like to eat, and there are times I feel hungry that I'm sure I'm not.

I tried the low carb thing before, but I love my carbs too much. I mean, even my breakfast alone has 36 carbs, and that doesn't include the almond milk I put in my coffee. I would love to hear everyone thoughts on this, and hear what it is they do that works best for them.
