Down 3 lbs in DecemWell, I'm and still in ketosis. What kept me from going hog wild on the sweets and food? ALL MY HARD WORK AND SUCCESS in 2023. I FELT all those unhealthy feelings coming back and prefer my life without all the inflammation and sickness I get when I eat like crap. I didn't want to set myself back 2 weeks. I need to get to maintenance….. but DANG … THE CHEESECAKE 🤣 I drove with my dog 13 hours to Illinois for Christmas week. Stayed with my 91 yo aunt and had xmas with her kids, my cousins. OMG THERE WAS THIS CHEESECAKE 🤯 from Gourmet Delight Cheesecake in Chicago by O'Hare. If you can afford it, order one! 50 bucks. I'm really picky about cheesecake! I tasted the PINEAPPLE COCONUT CHEESECAKE 🍍 thinking it won't be great. HOLY COW AMAZING. THEN, The chocolate pecan bark I got rid of a few posts ago showed up at Christmas dinner 🤣 I had sent it to my cousin, so she brought it to share. Surrounded by chocolate covered everything, cookies galore, I tasted a few things. Glad the cookies were blaaaa. I had a little lasagna Wednesday at dinner and came home still in KETOSIS! YEAH! Honestly, my goal was 141 for NEW YEARS. I think I'll make 144. On NEW YEARS day, I'll adjusty my January goal and announce my yearly goal. I've achieved my 2023 weight loss goals. I've been keto carnivore since January 1. 2023. I was on and off keto for a number of years prior.
