I've been a busy girl this week working on my own neglected landscape. I ignored my former vegetable garden this summer and it grew into a jungle, so I've been hauling out massive biomass - very heavy work. Plus, I've been going to the gym these past two weeks, starting with 2x per week while I've got all this other heavy work going on. Feeling good. We haven't had our RV on the road this season at all, due to my husband's health issues. But we''ve got some glorious weather forecast this week -at peak foliage- so I think we're going to take a quick 3 day trip up to the Northeast Kingdom of VT to enjoy the fall, and get away a bit. Nice to see the scale moving. I'm doing a carnivore coaching with Kelly Hogan for this month, so I'm cleaning up and doubling down on high protein and regular gym.

I'm converting the old veggie garden into a native's planting of trees, shrubs and perennials, plus I'm planning to add a couple of raised beds of herbs and a few veggies.

We still have to put our veggie garden to bed. I fear that may completely fall upon me as will leaf control as hubby is working on the windows and each one takes days to do. So nice to have an R.V. and to be able to take a nice foliage trip. I am also trying to keep my protein up.

Erika, I can sure relate. I didn't even do anything with my raised beds this summer. Too many other things going on. We have a little cabin in the mountains but couldn't even go up because of my husbands breathing. I'm so glad you can get away for a lovely time in your RV and see the beautiful colors. Be safe. We are all rooting for you!
