My birthday is a month away. I'll be turning 69. My goal is to be solidly under 200 lbs by then. That's only possible with fasting, so we'll see how it goes. So far, I'm hopeful that I can do it. I've been back and forth for the past two years, so it's time to push past that barrier. 

Great job, Erika!!! 👊 👏 9.4 lbs in a month with keto/carvivore/fasting?? It's totally possible. Stay with me, Erika. I'm not going anywhere. 🙂

Happy dance for you!!!! It's good being unstuck!! So far this fast is going well, but we are only on day 3, there is still time for stumbles. I'm here and dressed in my cheerleading uniform ready for any issue!!!! 📣📣📣

I went out to meet some prospective tenants at our rental house. We walked and talked for a half hour, then standing in the sun, I got woozy and thought I might pass out, sat down on the grass, then back to the car. Oops! My husband was with me, so he wrapped it up. I came home and postponed my heavy work day, pruning, with hired help. I put that off until Monday when I'll be done with this long fast. Clearly I'm not up to anything demanding during the fast. 

@Erika... It might be time for you to end it?? I noticed you said you got that way yesterday. Have you been checking your BG & ketones? Please don't push yourself too hard! Safety first. 

No, I'm fine as long as I take it easy. I just checked: BG 76, Ketones 2.8. This is the range of healing autophagy. I didn't mention it earlier, but I'm recovering -5 years out- from a TBI- brain injury. Dr Boz treats brain injury patients with higher levels of ketones. So, I'm pursuing a therapeutic dose for my still sullied head, as well as some solid fat lose. I fasted for 21 days once and was fine the whole time. I just have to be gentle with myself in the heat - that is - mostly stay in the AC. 

Dr Boz ratio of 27 (76 divided by 2.8). below 40= autophagy zone. 

👍 Then... fast on there, buddy. My BG is 84 and ketone urine strips are as dark as they can get.

I've fasted a lot. When I do I *must* take an electrolyte supplement several times a day. No more woozyness 👍🏾 

I took a serving of AG1 (Athletic Greens) because I felt like maybe I needed a vitamin boost. - for dinner! I'll recheck my BG and Ketones to see if it affected me. 

I'm hoping it won't Erika, it sounds like you needed something!  

Do you track your electrolytes in the diary Erika? I'm wondering if you are getting enough. I know you use LMNT, but does the amount you use in a day equal what you would be getting if you ate?
