Last day of freedom, back to work tomorrow. Rain seems to have cleared, skies are mostly clear at the moment. Back yard is a mud pit. Joy. On the upside, the house is clean from having company over. Going to keep that up, meaning keeping it cleaner and having people over on a regular basis again. It's too easy to hermit.

No idea what the numbers were yesterday, just know that it's lower than the day before. BF and I watched movies at home yesterday because of the storm, that was nice to just sit and chill together. A rarity for both of us and our schedules never sync like that. Proof that I don't usually watch TV during the day, we ended up making some window inserts out of a cardboard box to cut the window glare. This was done with much help from all three dogs who instantly transformed into cats and kept sitting on the box while I was trying to cut. We did get some pretty good laughs though. Move one dog and another takes their place. They are extremely organized like that. Results below. I'm not interested in drilling into the wood for blackout blinds or anything like that. This is just fine. We fancy like that.

Am I doing resolutions? I dunno, I think I'm just going to keep moving forward with life. I'm almost at my 150 walking mile goal for a new watch, plus I got a nice analog one for Christmas that I need to fix the band on or get it fixed, haven't decided yet. Leaning towards keeping money in the bank for now. Until it doesn't count my strokes again. That is definitely maddening.

Will try and swim today. Mini polar bear plunge. it's cold outside for swimsuits. I have learned that if I sit down and pull my bear blanket over, that all motivation to move is immediately sucked out of my body and I fall asleep.
