I have not wanted to weigh in since hitting my goal. Maybe tomorrow. My weight has been up a little bit but it’s my time of the month so it will go back down. I have not been able to regularly hit 30% protein, but trying has definitely given me a more stable blood sugar and I’m happy with the results. I was disappointed that I did not get to run today. I am going to work a few hours a week at my fiancé’s acupuncture and massage office, and today we practiced abhyanga massage on each other. Between that and other things planned today, I had planned my run to be after my massage. But my fiancé said it would be unhealthy to run immediately after such a treatment, so I followed doctors orders even though I did not want to miss my run. He was right that I was not in a good space for it after the treatment. I can squeeze another run in soon. I am thinking about scheduling a race (on top of the muddy princess race my friends and I already have planned for October) but I am short on funds for something like that and they are so early in the morning. (I used to race with my dad when I was 9-14, would be fun to get back in to it. He unfortunately can no longer run for health reasons and doesn’t live in my area). Maybe a goal for next year.
