Logged food, but not thoughts this weekend. It was just a little busy. I ended up adopting the female GSD I rescued the week before. Being herded by two shepherds is a much different experience than just one. I went to a "vegan potluck" my friend had. Honestly, between being tired from the shelter business and a new dog, giving up alcohol for Lent (and diet) and being put in a room full of new (to me) neighborhood women to put on a performance, I wasn't really that much fun. They also acted old and snooty, I'm not either in my mind. What-ev-er!

Sunday, I did more closet purging, I found a pair of early in my career shoes that "shrank" despite never having been near my washer or dryer. They fit! That was exciting. I'm tossing the cheap filler stuff and keeping the stuff that is better quality or near and dear to me. So much stuff for a house with no real closets (100 years old).

I didn't turn on the TV or music all day, but kept moving. I have a couple of bags for Goodwill, a couple for the new mom friend, and maybe even some for the compost pile. Those things are very well-loved and I wouldn't inflict them on anyone else.
