My garmin Watch wanted me to run 7 miles today, the run I rescheduled after our Petie passed away. I intended to but the heat slowed me down and I only barely had time for 5 miles anyway. Too bad, i was excited to run 7 miles for the first time (I’ve not run more than 10k before). I like the bigger challenge of the garmin 10k training plan but am considering switching to the 5k training plan because of heat and busyness and then I would go back to 10k in the cooler months. (Nope, I don’t like getting up early and I don’t like treadmills). Feeling really stressed and ditzy but not overeating like I was. The zucchini rice gratin I made for the first time for dinner was quite tasty, though needed more zucchini and veggies I think. This weekend I am going out of town to see my parents. I rarely see them and may participate in their exercise rather than do my own routine in order to spend more time with them.
