This was week 7, day 2 interval set from my 5k pacer app. I did this set a second time because on Wednesday when I first tried it, I hadn’t run in 6 days (favoring other exercise instead) & I found my pace & stamina had taken such a hit… (cont in comments)

…that I needed a do-over. I find that I can’t maintain or improve my running speed and strength without doing it three times a week. I love it because nature is beautiful and the endorphins are addictive and it reminds me of fun runs with my dad. But it’s also frustrating because sometimes I want more time for other exercise like walking, biking - or kayaking and hiking, two things I haven’t done in a long while. On the plus side, I did get back into a pattern of going back to the gym after slacking off a few weeks. I was starting to see the slack in my glutes and that was motivating lol!
