Friday night, the Engineering Firm I work at held their Annual Employee Appreciation Dinner. It's funny because we also host a Holiday Open House for our clients, but we all get more "dolled up" for our Employee Appreciation Party than we do for the one we host for our clientele 😜It's not even required we get "dressy" - we just do. Mom is always my favorite and most requested date 🥰We both loved our outfits so much this year, we decided to take some pics by the Christmas tree. It was a good time and I got to try escargot and oysters on the half shell for the first time, both of which I am surprised to discover I love!!! Even better - my legs held up very well and I didn't have to rely on the cane once when I was inside. Made my new black boots look even more stunning 😁The hangover the next day...hmmm...not so stunning, but a worthy trade off for a fun evening out. I only tracked the first part of the day, but I did not track the food I ate at the restaurant. I'm sure I ate well over 2600, but I was sure to be tight this week with regards to my daily maintenance cals so to ensure there was room and a metabolism that was more than ready to have some fuel thrown it's way. I'm back to my regular maintenance cals this week, but Im not weighing in this weekend. They'll be no accurate data and I don't want to mess up my average on the Happy Scale app. So, next week we'll be back to regular weigh in.
