Fasted 20 hours, ate 652 calories and lost no weight. My body must want to be here. It's okay. Too bad I can't exercise with this new pain in my hip, down my leg that hurts with each step. Read about sciatica, but not the symptoms of electrical shooting pains, tingling, and numbness. I think this is one of my bulging disks getting worse. Yes, I will have to go see a doctor but I am really scared for the future. I know some others with bulging disks are in a lot of pain. In the past, I have been able to control my pain by laying on my side and curling. Will the rest of my life be like this? It's been over a week, and I'm not optimistic it will get better. I do not plan to ever have surgery! I need to read and study about gentle exercise and stretching. Our daughter and husband arrived to stay with us for the holidays. I will study later. I know others have chronic pain but I am really, really scared.
