Plateau continues... Hubs is back in town. I go pick him up at 4. I'm pretty nervous to see him after 3 weeks. He is excited and I am cautious. I feel my connection to him is waning due to lack of interaction be it in person or on the phone. I'm pretty depressed actually, but he says he is working to make the situation better. He had a pretty awful 3 weeks too on the road with the delays and truck problems. My anxiety about everything is high. Hoping that we get along ok.

Good luck! My husband has been gone for three weeks, travelling for a volunteer position. I pick him up from the airport on Monday. I can get used to him being gone, but the transitions are so hard. Of course I'll be happy to see him, but not long after, I'll be annoyed at him for just existing - because I'm not used to him being here. Anyway, to feel more connected with him while he's on the road, he shares his location with me on Google maps. Any time, I can look and see where he is. It's not a trust/jealousy thing, I'm not worried about him going somewhere he shouldn't. Rather, I can switch to Google street view and see the same scenery he is seeing. Today, I looked up what town he was in, saw a bagel place I thought he would like, and recommended it to him. He went, and he really enjoyed it. Yes, I share my location with him, too; location sharing has not caused us any problems.

Yes I we share our locations too and that helps. So far the time with him has been good.
