Good idea💡 People get quite deluded about the amount of fat you actually need on your diet, I aim for no more than 20% of calories. Yes, you definitely need fats and oils in your diet. The main thing is to ensure that it’s ‘good fats’ from a variety of sources such as nuts and seeds, dairy and eggs. I sometimes add flaxseed meal to my protein porridge and smoothies, and have a few walnuts. The rest comes from unprocessed foods.

Lushy, my body gets fat from what I'm eating. It's not as much as usually but a natural ingredient of the fruits and veggies. I'm currently on a 28 days cleanse that has the most effect by leaving out any additional fat. It's allowed to have nuts or e g. Avocado but no fat from oil or animal products. 😉 I've done a similar (shorter) cleanse before and the results were amazing. It's nice to watch the body heal. Although I always considered myself as healthy before!

Jomo, yes that sounds good! And we should never forget that every body is different. I love nuts, milk products, eggs and meat. But I observed that leaving milk products and eggs (and others) out of my diet suddenly healed problems I considered to be normal because I carry them with me since ages. As soon as spring starts I feel my nose tickling, and I know to start with the cleanse. Because that's the sign for me that something is not okay. And these few weeks help already to have nearly no hayfever at all. It only comes back if I'm cheating too much with (for me) "wrong" food.
