A rich CEO takes a vacation to a small Mexican fishing village. On his first day, while walking around the pier, he sees a local jump into his small fishing boat and sets out into the open water.

The CEO walks around town for only a couple hours and sees the Mexican fisherman pull back in and ties up his boat. He approaches the boat and begins helping the fellow unload his catch of a few large tuna.

They started talking and the CEO says, "Nice catch. Why didn't you stay out longer and catch more?"

"This is enough for my family for the week, so I just wanna go home, cook some, and relax with my neighbors and family."

CEO: "But if you stayed out longer and caught more, you could sell them and make a profit. You could use the money to get a bigger boat, a crew, more boats... pretty soon, you'll be sitting in an office counting your money while other people do the work for you. Sure, it's hard, but you'll make a lot of money by the end!"

The local man cocked his head and, after a long pause asked, "...but what would I do with all that money?"

CEO: "You can retire to a Mexican fishing village and relax!"



Enjoy life NOW. Goals are nice, but learn to prioritize what is TRULY important. Tomorrow may never come.

Be content with your current situation while continuing to make progress. Quality of life is all mental. Enjoy who you ARE and what you ALREADY HAVE. Anything else is bonus, but you can never recover lost time 🤙
