So many changes. Coming out of the sadness of mom dying in early April and before that the chaos of living in a tornado damaged house. Self care for the last few months has not been possible. Order is being restored at home, and I'm able to be with Mr C and my pets more often now. I've had a lot of nightmares and anxiety but I started taking buspar a week ago so hopefully it will kick in. Went to the gym yesterday for the first time since January. Next I'll do some meal planning. It's time to get better.

I'm not eating as many noom green foods as I should be, but I'm not overeating as often, so it was a win to come through the holidays without a weight gain. Just a plateau and then slight loss. Went to the gym yesterday for the first time in a couple of months and that felt good.

Pleasant surprise on the scale since I ate at the top end of my calorie range yesterday. I'm giving up Cheezits and bags of M&Ms for good. I had gotten into the habit of eating a cup or more of each of those at the same time almost daily. I allow myself up to 6 M&Ms per day when I'm at mom's.
I woke up with a lot of joint aches - left thumb, lower back, knees. I want to look into an anti-inflammatory diet.

I am eating at the top end of my calorie range for weight loss so it won't come off fast but I'm okay with gradual.

This is a pattern with me. Start off motivated and disciplined in the morning and by 3pm it's a snacking free for all.
Just read a noom lesson about eating scripts. I don't get to hang out with my daughter very often so when she visits and has time, we like to watch movies and snack mindlessly. She's thin and never eats as much as I do although she will eat junk food. Last night it was leftover Halloween candy and popcorn. I piled those calories on top of leftover high-calorie Thanksgiving pork with bread stuffing. I hit 2101 calories before the night was over.
I need to get rid of all the holiday leftovers. My salad greens are wilting. I could have had a cup of coffee instead of junk food.
