After a horrible year of being in a car accident, few months later breaking my knee cap and femur and 2 months after that being attacked in my home, I went horribly off of the way - I was eating (clean) in 2014 where I managed to lose 20kg in 12 months. I picked up 10kg gradually over last year but now I am back on my mission. My knee is allowing me to do exercise again, keeping in mind I dont hold water back, and I am working on not being afraid anymore. Having control over what I eat and how much I eat is helping me get back on track.

I started doing the skinny girl diet on Friday and can already feel the difference and I am actually full. whoop whoop!!! The calorie restrictions are low however you can eat fruit and veggies freely without having to count them into your daily intake. And you work on the 40/40/20 method. 40%cabs 40%protein and 20%fat. So for a 400cal day looks like this:

Fat - 8.8g
Carbs 40g
Protein - 40g

With as many best option fruit and veggies as you like :)

I also got myself a step counter and aiming for 10000 steps everyday!!
I have prepacked frozen fruit and veggies to make yummy smoothies with water. I cut out refined carbs completely and started using chickpea flour instead when baking. A bunch of friends and family are very supportive and we are doing a biggest loser challenge together for the next 15 weeks.

2016 is going to be a new adventure.

400 cals is too little, if it's just for a few days and then going back up with cals it would be OK I guess. When you stop feeling hungry that just means your metabolism slowed down. I've been there, lost 50lbs with 500/700 cals per day, gained it all back, extra fast.

lower your carb intake, up the fat.. do some homework.. work smart!

Be careful of some of the fruits, they have a lot of sugar that the body will use long before it starts burning fat.

can someone give good protein choices that are low fat? I eat a lot of chicken already.
