pics from the 2 mile fun run last night (9m 15s pace) in a thunder storm. 8:20 PM start due to lightning delays... Selfie is before I was looking like a wet dog... lol
4.5 miles this am (only ran 1.5 @ a 9min pace) and will walk at lunch. Crossfit tonight. Hope everyone has the best day!!

Awesome job! 😁 I'm more of an LSD gal (long, slow distance) so "fun" and "run" don't appear in the same sentence in my vocabulary 😜 Still, I'd like to start incorporating running. I see people out running, and I always admire their dedication!

writing- you dont have to run as long as you're staying active! i walk a lot, too. its not all about speed! I actually dont speed train at all. I just do what feels good. (i dont interval sprint to intentionally increase speed. i do it because its fun)

Kay, funny thing, last night i told my hubs that i miss running. (Surgeon strongly strongly advised me against it so im adhering but it’s strange to think never again). But when i was running i found it to be a chore most of the time. Occasionally i would look forward to it. The first time i ran 7 miles i had to have my mom pick myself and my dog up and take us back home. I live at the top of about a 2 mile steep hill and was pooped. But that memory of how i felt is awesome. Good for you. Take care of your hips and your knees while you are so young ok so you dont end up like me (although my knees are fine just bad hips). So love your pix. I know i keep telling you that but they are awesome.

Thanks for the encouragement, kaylin! My fun is hiking and cross country skiing, so at least I'm doing those. :)
