Starting my raw diet today . I made some mock taco meat and some raw salsa with salad greens. I go in for surgery on the 6th , and the complications I've been having have set me thinking how unhealthy I am. I still haven't smoked since January and I'm very proud of that. unfortunately I've gained more weight than I ever have in the past. I decided that I enjoy cooking so much that if I turned my obsession into something healthy I might actually lose weight. I spent 240 dollars on groceries last night. I want to try and keep track of how much it costs to stay on this diet because it may not actually be worth living this way. If I lose weight and my health gets better I would spend thousands of dollars a month... I wouldn't be able to afford anything else, but I'd be skinny! jk.
